Poured a medium golden, with a BIG white fluffy head. Smell of lemons, very acidic aroma. Light flavor, a little citrus, not too bad. steview (902), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 28, 2008 this reminds me slightly of orval--this is rather dry, with citrus peel, and creamy, with the slightest hint of banana; but it could be a lot more... it wants to be more acidic, more funky; it would be great if it went the lambic route... otherwise, it is a damn good brew. I broke out a big bottle of this for a picnic with a neighbor. I was going to give him something different to try (I don’t think he buys much non-mainstream beer) but the flavor profile was so routine. The hops are pronounced and they give it a dry tackiness, and there’s a strong yeast dimension, but the fruitiness was subdued, there was no funkiness (I guess Fantome is too high of a standard to set), and much of the effect to be not far beyond a summer ale. Didn’t impress me. Headbanger (1601), Aurora, Illinois, USA

Taste is of the same with the hops becoming more abundant. This medium bodied brew finishes with a nice firm dryness. This is a damn good brew from Boulevard. JCB (1799), Durham, North Carolina, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 16, 2008 750ml from a trade on BA. Very intense pour, golden color with a slight cloudiness and a surprisingly fast-rising head. Had trouble keeping on top of it, actually. Nice grassy aroma, with hints of mild fruits and spice. Nothing out of the ordinary, but pleasant and well done. The flavors are less dry than I expected, given the aromas. Almost like some Saaz hops giving a flash of pilsner in there before the saison resumes. Anyways, nice stuff in the Dupont vein. hayduke (1680), Eureka, California, USA

Good rich mouthfeel. Flavor complex with citrus, wheat, yeast, and herbal hops. Dry finish. Very good beer. yobdoog (1543), Woodridge NY, New York, USA

I have had a few bottles and I love the spice, yeast, bread, and fruit that is this beer. I really enjoy the balance, drinkability and appearance of this beer. Carbonation and body are perfect and has hints of spice and tart. mabel (2626), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Lightly hazy, yellow orange body with a long-lasting foamy white head and some floaties. Yeasty "lemon spritz" flavour has a bit of a wheat background. Medium body. Refreshing, nice lemon hints.
