Bottle. Pale golden in color with a white head. Fruity peppery yeasty aroma. Spicy coriander notes. Malty citrusy spicy hoppy flavor. Finish is bitter and dry . Sweet tasting. Medium bodied. Drinkable. Nice stuff.

Oct 7, 2008 Bottle from Wine and Cheese Place in (near) St. Louis, MO. Slightly hazy gold color with a 3-finger fluffy white head that perservered. Aroma of light funk, citrus, yeast/spice. Medium body with creamy carbonation. Very fresh citrus and light stone fruit flavors over a bit of sweet malt. Then the sweet goes away and there is astringent light funk. It also seems to have nice fruity hop. It really digs into the rear edges of the tongue. Nice touch on the upper front too. This thing is incredibly drinkable.

Oct 7, 2008 Bottle from Holiday. Dark orange with a fluffy white head. Fruit and belgian yeast aroma and taste with some decent bitterness. Very drinkable.

Oct 6, 2008 750ml bottle from South Bay Drug. Pours a deep golden color, completely hazed with a two finger off white head. Nose of spice, yeast and some funky citrus fruit. Flavor was much of the same with more emphasis on the spice. Beer was medium in body with a fairly smooth ad spicy finish.

Oct 5, 2008 Bottle. Pours a nice, cloudy yellow with an aroma of honey-glazed hay and grass. A coppery hops presence is immediately noticeable in the taste, followed by a sour herbal blend that seems a bit stale. Average mouthfeel. Not at all what Ilook for in a saison. Big disappointment from a great brewery.

Oct 4, 2008 Bottle. Nice big fluffy head tops a well carbonated haze pale gold pour. Spicy wheat aroma with some lemon. Very lemony in flavor with sharp and spicy hops and a bit of geranium. Nice body with balancing malt sweetness. Bitter finish.
