Jul 24, 2009 Fruity aroma with the tingle of carbonation. Fairly hazy gold with a big white head. Lots of bittering hops, very clean maltiness, hops live with citrus, and some apricots. Very carbonated. Tart finish from the fruit yeast strain.

Jul 22, 2009 Poured a slightly hazy orange color with a barely off-white, rocky head and good lacing. The aroma is light citrus and heavy on the sharp pine hops. The flavor is dominated by hops but is well complimented by some light peppery spice and some caramel sweetness that cuts through just a bit. Expectedly succinct finish. Pretty good.

Jul 19, 2009 Bottle best before August 14, 2009. I’m really looking forward to this one. The Boulevard line up is pretty solid indeed. The pour is beautiful: bright orange, cloudy, and a massively fluffy white head erupts. Good stuff. The aroma is hoppy, plenty of citrus, pineapple, grapefruit, and a sour twinge. Man. This is a well balanced IPA, lots of hops, fruits all over the place, just enough malts to balance. But y’know, there is this sour thing going on. . kind of metallic, it’s the only thing wrong with the beer and it’s so out of place. If it wasn’t for that I would love this brew. But, everytime I take a swing it leaves that almost, just almost smooth hoppy finish on my palate that leaves enough to hope for more. I will revisit.

Jul 18, 2009 Aroma is certainly hoppy enough, that extentive array of hops used results in a big hodgepodge aroma,with little hints of everything,certainly pleasant enough though,rather full body taste,a huge soup of slightly sweet caramel malting and again the monster blend of hops,very interesting,different from other IPA’s in a good way,bitter enough to satisfy the hop lover in me. Thanks Kingpin,who donated this to me without his knowledge
