Sampled from a 12oz bottle at Woody’s. Pours a hazy mustard color with heavy suspended particulate, even with a very careful gentle pour, and massive pillowtop offwhite head. Great sticky lacing as well. Nose is a wonderful citrus bouquet with some sweet honey notes. Flavor is very similar with a piney note. Very well rounded showing of hops. Not overly bitter, and very floral. Lingering sweet hoppiness. Very damn good!

A bit of an orangy flavor mixed with bitterness. Not my favorite Boulevard but they are all good.

A very good but not great IPA. Big fluffy head but light aroma with it. There’s plenty of sticky hops in the flavor and finish, but there’s an odd lemony flavor as well. The aftertaste isn’t great. Certainly drinkable, but not a rave. Re-rating comment: I drink this quite a bit now. Not sure what the earlier aftertaste issue, was, but this is ver solid.

Transparent copper with a nice, long-lasting fizzy white head. Nose has loads of orange, some grassy grapefruit providing a little bitterness to balance. Flavor has a strong balance of bready malt, biting citrus, some minor tea notes. Spritzy mouth, a little coating, finish in tea and citrus. There’s something faintly Belgian here, and I like that. It’s pretty refreshing, and I like that. The flavor has a nice balance, and I like that. It could be stronger and more complex... but I like this.

Sampled on 3/19/2009. This IPA pours an orange gold color from a 12oz bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, sweet, orange and piney. A medium bodied IPA> the malts are caramel and fruity. The hops are grapefruity and citrusy. Good carbonation. Nice balance. Hoppy without being too bitter. Nice beer. Decent session IPA> Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is bitter.

Bottle. Head is initially large, frothy, white, mostly lasting. Body is hazy dark yellow, bottle conditioned. Aroma is lightly malty (toasted grain), moderately hoppy (resin, grapefruit), with a light note of cotton candy. Flavor is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately acidic, moderately to heavily bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation, lightly alcoholic. Looks quite nice, but otherwise is fairly ordinary (especially in the aroma).
