Serious hop and floral flavor but with little behind it. Quite a bit of malt and fizz. Not quite sure why I enjoyed it as much as I did but probably something to do with the variety of citrus flavors. deyholla (778), Bloomington, Indiana, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 3, 2009 Bottle. Poured a golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma was beautiful with a nice mix of citrus, floral and pine hops. Flavor begins with pine hops and ends with a bit of citrus, but mainly pine throughout. Pours a lively light orange with a nice white head and a nose of subtle grapefruit, rose, and a touch of malt. Flavor is crisp, lingering sour grapefruit with a subtle infusion of pine-soaked orange. Tingly and coating on the tongue. Another great Boulevard beer. philbertk (177), Seattle, Washington, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 30, 2009 12 oz. bottle served in a snifter. Hazy golden honey color with a pillowy white head that fills half the glass and leaves behind little lacing. Aroma is spruce, mustiness, and sweet malt. Bitter flavor, quite bitter, and has a metallic tinge that also lingers on the astringent finish. I remembered this being better. May has too much age on it. hombrepalo (780), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Nov 30, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours amber with lots of white head, a bit too carbonated. Aroma of citrus hops and fruity ale esters. Lighter side of medium bodied but with a fizzy carbonation, slightly thin. Flavor of caramel and biscuit, countered by a spicy hoppiness. Finishes with notes of tea, grapefruit rind. Not bad for the price, but a little too fizzy and heavy with the biscuit like malt.
