Commercial Description:
The latest addition to the Boulevard family of year-around beers, Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version -- inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A. -- boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping. Ingredients: Pale malt, caramel malt & malted wheat. Magnum, Columbus, Bravo, Cascade, Centennial & Palisade hops. 59 IBUs.

Aroma is certainly hoppy enough, that extentive array of hops used results in a big hodgepodge aroma, with little hints of everything, certainly pleasant enough though, rather full body taste,a huge soup of slightly sweet caramel malting and again the monster blend of hops, very interesting, different from other IPA’s in a good way, bitter enough to satisfy the hop lover in me. Thanks Kingpin, who donated this to me without his knowledge

Was nicely surprised by this brew! Lots of citrusy characteristics throughout, nose, and flavors, this regular IPA is definitely a new found brew for me for sessionable drinking! Bitter, sweet, and nicely balanced, a great take on the IPA from Missouri.

Poured amber with a white head, nose of citrusy hops. Taste is weak grassy hops with slight malt and a little hop bitterness. A fairly weak IPA.

This is a real solid IPA. Not exactly how I like them, but well made nonetheless. It’s a real hazy brew and has more earthy flavors I guess is how I would describe it. Good brew though.

A golden-brown beer with a nice foamy head. The aroma is citrusy hops, & the taste is light hoppy with a grassy taste. This is not an overly hopped IPA.

Bottle. Strong pine/grapefruit hops aroma. Golden yellow color with small head. Sweet citrus malt flavor initially with moderate pine hops finish. Nicely blended - good IPA.

Rich golden, nice firm head. Aroma soft and a little winey. Nice enough flavours - grapefruit, a little alcohol phenols in there too. Tangy and not just from the carbonation. Nice enough

Bottle: Hazy amber orange color with a light white head and nice lacing. The nose is dry and piney with a light fresh orange skin note. Dry grassy and citrusy flavor; lots of grapefruit and light dry malt dust. Finishes refreshing, the dryness and citrus build upon each other and the lack of bitterness adds to the light fruitiness of it all. Good IPA. Very quaffable.
