| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 5, 2008 Very nice color. Great head... smells fresh brewed! Very frothy head... my gosh. Tamely sweet, bitter, not astringent as it could be, fruity, sour... hint of raisin. Pretty darned good recipe. Bright palate. Not bad for a Missouri Quad!!! Impressive, actually. beerinmarch (2829), Washington, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Dec 1, 2008 Lighter amber/orange pour with a tall white head. Much lighter then I was expecting. Lots of fruit sweetness. Citrus, apricots, dry sweetness of fig. Dry finish with a nice carbonation to it that brought out a bit of spiciness. Soonah (970), Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 1, 2008 The pour was dark brown with auburn highlights. A compact off-white head produced some nice lacing. The aroma was malt, raisin, figs and some unchecked alcohol. The flavor was slightly smoky, malt, raisin and alcohol. The mouthfeel was average, carbonation was almost too tight. golubj (1290), Sunnyvale, California, USA
