Rusty penny pour with a sandy brown head. Spicy, malty brew that includes touches of brown sugar, raisin, molasses, and cherry skins. Medium consistency; not extremely complex but highly drinkable (and yes, I know it’s 10.5% ABV...can definitely get you in trouble). Very tasty!!! biz82 (1328), austin, Texas, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 25, 2008 Bottle at Anchor, Wichita. Pours a deep, thick amber with a quick-rising head that leaves a nice lacing around the tulip glass. Aromas of sweet plumb and slight sugar swirl around in the nose and linger throughout the duration of drinking this beer. A blend of rich plumb and molasses swirls on the taste buds and tickles each one with a light prick of yeasty bread. Thick and full mouthfeel. Satisfying beer.
