So basically I was told this is Saison-Brett without the brett. It tastes like it, which unfortunately is just a layer of pure goodness pulled from the flavor and aroma profile. Leathery, dried fruit lead the way, along with faint citrus. But this beer pales in comparison to the former. curly (650), Nashville, Tennessee, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 21, 2009 I had this bad boy on tap at Crescent Moon. Poured a nice cloudy yellow with a white head. It was a delicious brew with some good balance. Had a nice citrus hop kick to it that complimented the dry farmhouse style flavors. The hops even provided an unexpected sweetness at the end that was quite pleasant. alagnak (359), Littleton, Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 17, 2009 Draft @ Falling Rock. Really nice in the tulip glass, hazy yellow and a very active, fluffy head. Aroma is yeast, hay and sweet citrus that is well-integrated with a nice underlying citric hop bitterness. Taste is heavily led by the apricot - I’m not a big fan of eating apricots - but it works really, really well in this beer. Followed by straw and then finishing with the citric hops and a nice white pepper finish. Fantastic. phishpond417 (1953), Madison, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Sep 15, 2009 Had this on tap over at the MAlt House: Poured a super hazey golden colour with a fluffhead that kept on fluffing. Some grapefruit, orange peel and spices on the nose. Taste was creamy, lots of carbonation making it spritzy and alive. And some well integrated spice notes. humulushound (135), British Columbia, Canada
