| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Mar 25, 2009 Appearance: Pours a hazy, straw-colored body with a thin, frothed, white head.
Smell: Simply stated, you get a little lemon, some wheat, and some spice. There.
Taste: Lightly tangy wheat flavor followed by a burst of lemon. Mildly sweet. Tiniest hint of spice and no more than an altogether light bitterness. Drying, lemony finish with plenty of crisp carbonation.
Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium-high carbonation.
Drinkability: Just another light, easy-drinking wheat beer. Though it is a bit too high carbonation for me. ansermadide (521), Kyle, Texas, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Mar 22, 2009 Bottle with breakfast on March 22, 2009. Super carbonated. Didn’t get much head out of this, even though I really tried. Pale yellow color. Lacing? What lacing? Sweet, wheat aroma. This is extremely light-bodied (nearing gravity of water, I’d presume). Honestly, doesn’t look very unfiltered to me. Clear as day. Flavor is a little sour and yeasty. Tastes alot like what you’d drink out of your macro-light can an hour after falling asleep floating on the river (flavor directly related to the river water that has splashed in your can over that period of unsupervised time). | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 21, 2009 Sampled at Flying Saucer in Little Rock. Pours a super pale cloudy pilsener color with about a single finger head. Taste is extremely smooth, wheaty, and un-exciting. Has very little to no aroma. A thirst quencher and definitely better than a macro lager to refresh you, but not terribly exciting in any way. drjay44 (809), Salida, Colorado, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Mar 21, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours an initially large head which disappears completely, over a pale (SRM5) cloudy yellow body....nose is very light with hints of bread and yeast, minimal spiceness.....taste is minimal with only slight hints of grain or spice, slight citrus finish....mouthfeel is light. Even for a wheat this is too insubstantial. I am tasting this after tasting Boulevard’s Witbeir which is completely superior. SSSteve (2090), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
