Commercial Description:
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer, available since 2000 both in bottles and on draught, is a lively, refreshing ale with a citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. Our Unfiltered Wheat is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration.

Pours a light golden color which is very cloudy with thin head. Tastes strongly of wheat with some hints of citrus. Drinkable with a pleasant aftertaste.

Cloudy golden lemon in appearance. Hints of Lemon Pledge in aroma. Clean crisp citrus taste. Not too bad, very drinkable beer but nothing outstanding.

Pours a very cloudy light gold in color. Not a whole lot of head going on, but plenty of lively action coming off the etching on the bottom of the glass. Just a bit of wheat and lemon in the smell. A bit more in the taste, but not much. Seems to be a bit muted and flavorless. Hint of wheat and lemon in the taste. Not very flavorable, but very crushable.

Bottle courtesy of mreusch. Pours hazy with a thin white head. Smells of lemons, grass, hay, some lactic hints. Tastes tarte with a nice citrussy splash. Enjoyable.

On tap just about anywhere around KC. Pours a very cloudy yellow-orange with a fingerwidth, creamy white head. Aroma of wheat malts, some citrus hop backing, and bread. Taste is similar to the aroma. Slightly watered down wheat taste with a lemony/orange zest. Crisp, light to medium bodied, refreshing. Overall, a decent beer that I can rely upon often.

Bottle. Poured a hazy yellow/gold with a one finger white head. Aroma of wheat and citrus. Flavor was citrusy, but the body was weak. Still, a decent summer beer.
