Commercial Description:
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer, available since 2000 both in bottles and on draught, is a lively, refreshing ale with a citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. Our Unfiltered Wheat is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration.

Pours a nice hazy gold color with a medium beige head and good carbonation. I enjoyed the citrus flavor present, and the nice balance of hops. Good mouthfeel, if not just a touch gritty (due to the residual yeast, which I happen to like). I think this beer would pair nicely with a nicely-seared peppercorn burger on a summer day. I think the searing and the peppercorns would help to enhance the flavor of this brew.

Hazy yellow pour with a small white head. Aroma of banana and yeast. Tastes citrusy and yeasty. Not a whole lot of taste, but this style isn’t supposed have an intense flavor. It is supposed to be a refreshing ale and I think it accomplishes that well. Try to get your friends who still drink A-B products to start drinking this stuff, it is a good bridge between the world of ass produced shit, to that of craft beers.

Cloudy yellow. Very faint aroma. Underbittered. Medium green apple astringency. Light banana ester. Lemony. Starchy, medium-light body. On tap, Flying Saucer, Nashville.

Had many of times, been a regular session for many years. Pours a very hazy yellow, little white head. Aroma of lemons, bread, and other citrus fruit. Similar flavor, very up front with the tart citrus. Has a bit of a lemonade sweet/tart things going on. Finishes decently carbonated, easy to sip on.

Nice, but subtle aroma with liught banana, honey and some fruity hops (no skunk at all). Pour is a frothy white head over a hazy, strong yellow body. Taste is very clean, but pretty boring. A good session beer, but not too interesting. It does go down quite smoothly.

Bottle pour a hazy lemonade colored body with a small white head. Some lemony pepper in the faint aroma. Light body seems overcarbonated. Taste is lemony citrus with a dash of pepper and yeast. Would be a good summer quencher but otherwise unremarkable.
