Aromas were a bit sour due to the wheat twang. The flavors were very crisp and pretty decent for a hot day. Hammster (187), Eagan, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 29, 2007 Bottle. Poured a hazy gold with a clean white head of medium body. Bread and only a hint of citrus in the aroma. The beer is light in taste and dry. There’s a mild lemony flavor with some wheat. This would be VERY refreshing on a hot and humid day. If you wanted to get tanked up on a wheat, this would also be a good choice because it’s light with a clean finish and is not very filling. A nice beer. kmweaver (2484), Sebastopol, California, USA

Pours a hazy, pale yellow color; thin white head with patchy lacing. Slight presence of bananas and sweet fruit in the aroma; very reserved. Crisp presence in the mouth: lively carbonation, with a solid ring of citrus hops surrounding everything, but not much in the middle: mild doughy notes and some sugar; somewhat one-dimensional, but very sessionable and refreshing. Medium, sugar and wheaty finish. goldbrew (99), USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 21, 2007 Bottle and on tap. I prefer this ale to their Pale Ale. Good balance and robust mouthfeel. Plenty smooth. A certain pungent awakening and liveliness in the drink at the finish. Respectable. Ughsmash (4074), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 4, 2007 Bottled. Poured a lightly cloudy brighter golden with a dusting of white head. The first impression on the nose was of darker vegetal notes.. not what I was hoping for.. grainy notes and a pinch of lemon.. didn’t do it for me. The flavor was a touch better.. some pils-type malts blend with the wheat at the core, losing most of the vegetal character.. mildly tart lemon zest accents ride through the back-end.. not bad. This felt surprisingly good on the palate.. lighter-bodied and refreshing.. also flowed well. Got better as it progressed. Thure (143), Aalborg, Denmark
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 27, 2007 Slightly hazy straw yellow with a thin white head. Corn aroma with a faint wheat grain note. Crisp and kind of clean like a pilsner in texture and flavor whit a bit of european hop flavor to it. Right to style BJCP 6D. ilikestuff (222), Fort Worth, Texas, USA

A very unimpressive wheat with an odd metallic flavor, slight citrus flavor and sweet aroma. Not bad, but not anything to get excited about. lowg (123), Scarborough, Ontario, Canada
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Sister-in-law from Kansas. Along with my brother they went down there and came back with a few bottles of this treat for me. This one pours golden blonde, a little cloudy with a respectable head that leaves a little lacing. Bready/citrus aroma with a matching flavour; an excellent balance - no need to put a lemon into this one. A good example of a good ol’ american wheat. Makes a great summertime beer. Thanks to my bro/sis-in-law for this one.
