Commercial Description:
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer, available since 2000 both in bottles and on draught, is a lively, refreshing ale with a citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. Our Unfiltered Wheat is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration.

Made 30 miles from where I live. Nice beer commonly swigged at the local bars. Pours cloudy golden color with creamy white head with some retention. Smells spicy, yeasty, and sweet bread. Taste of faint lemon, wheat, and little spicy hop finish. Not a whole lot of taste but is very drinkable. Good with a slice of lemon. For you people who like to put fruit in your beers.

A hazy piss yellow with no head. The aroma is almost nothing, while the taste is a very smooth almost citric taste. Would be good to drink in the summer but that’s about it.

Bought after playing in the Wichita Jazz festival. Cloudy, almost sickly yellow pour. Not too bad.

The standby unfiltered American wheat. I have had this millions of times. A solid brew that goes down easy when it’s the only craft brew at a dive bar!

On tap at The Trainwreck Saloon, Westport Village, St. Louis, MO. Cloudy gold pour, white head. Not much nose. Flavor is light citrus, faintly hop finish. Refreshing, but nothing that really grabs your attention. Agree with GG that it’s drinkable.

Bottled. Pours a light hazy golden yellow body, huge bubbles rising to the top of a rocky, uneven soap-like white foam head which melted rather quickly. Aroma is lemony crackers. Flavor is rather lacking in flavor, but what was there was some soapy lemon-like flavor, a touch of yeast and lightly sweetened. Light-bodied, a touch of carbonation on the palate. Drinkable.

Bottled. hazy light yellow. Unimpressive color. Thin, almost non-existent white head. Light, dull floral smell. Not worth talking about in terms of taste; crisp but bland watery taste.

Pours a hazy straw body with a white ring of head. Smells of zest and biscuit. Flavor is zest and some yeast.
