Aug 24, 2006 On tap Pizza Shoppe in Kearney, MO Yelllow and hazy. It doesn’t have a lot of flavor with or without a lemon. Still better than a macro lager. This beer seems to be on tap everywhere in the Kansas City area.

Aug 10, 2006 Updated: Aug 24, 2007From bottle in Iowa City, Iowa. Classic wheat look....yellow, hazy, and with a lemon slice on the glass. Moderate white head with average lacing. Nose of citrus and banana. Mouthfeel is crisp and clean. A lttle tart in the finish. A decent wheat, but not anywhere near to the standard set by German beers.

Jul 19, 2006 This is the first disappointed from Boulevard Brewing. This was a very light tasting wheat beer that is better on draught, but still lacking flavor. It tasted better when I added some lemon and would be ok on a hot day.

Jul 17, 2006 Tap. Man, this stuff is ubiquitous in KC. Do the bars lose their liquor license if they don’t offer it? Anyway, it pours like any other wheat. Hazy, yellow and a frothy white head on top. Subtle, but citrusy aroma. Surprisingly, the wheat aspect is in check. Mouthfeel was very sharp, especially for a lower alcohol wheat beer. Maybe it was the citrus, maybe there was a bit of spice, but there was something that made me look twice at it, and after a few glasses, I still couldn’t decide if I liked it or not. Again, the wheat aspect was subtle. Decent and refreshing.

Jul 14, 2006 Clougy golden witha stark white head. The aroma is light banana adn tartness. The falvor is pretty plain vanilla american wheat. Refershing in its own way and for that it gets a few points.

Jul 8, 2006 Bottle 36F Citrusy aroma with faint hops, no malts to speak of. Cloudy yellow with a white head that is quite small for a wheat. Flavor is fairly dominated by citrus why is this beer served with a lemon? Fairly light no real peppery tastes, it ok but definately not the best out there.

Jul 7, 2006 Draft at Old Chicago. Cloudy yellow with a small white head. lemon and orange aroma and taste. Some yeast and bread taste also. Decent but not a lot of complexity.
