Commercial Description:
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer, available since 2000 both in bottles and on draught, is a lively, refreshing ale with a citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. Our Unfiltered Wheat is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration.

Meh. Cloudy yellow. A bit of wheat sourness in the flavor but all in all nondescript and boring.

Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Aroma of wheat and citrus. It does have a nice refreshing quality. Nice flavor- wheat, a little citrus. Well-balanced, soft carbonation. Lacing on the glass. Worth a second go.

Pours a very pale yellow with a finger thick head. The aroma is lightly spicey with some notes of some sweet fruit, maybe banana. The falvor is very mild, some definite banana and hints of spice. Again, the flavor is very mild, nothing very outstandish about it. Not bad, refreshing, yet nothing exciting either.

This is probably about the perfect beer for a million-degree Kansas summer day, which is what it currently is, by the way - I shit you not - I was driving along I-70 today, and I had to ask the lady at the Petro station if I had made a wrong turn and accidentally drove myself into the center of the sun - but, anyway - this is yet another under-appreciated wheat ale -tangy wheat aroma - nice creamy body, but still light and refreshing - fresh-cracked wheat character, just a hint of sweetness, a light touch of bitterness on the back - very mild phenols - lingering bready malt, but mostly a clean, refreshing experience.

(bottle) Pours a clear, yellow color. Sweet, wheat aroma with hints of citrus. Thin texture, average carbonation, short duration, astringent/sweet finish.

Thanks to Todd for sharing this one! Hazy bright gold pour and a thin fizzy off white head. Spicy aroma. Lemon , orange, and zesty hops

Unsurprisingly boring and uninspired "wheat beer". Tastes a bit like watered down apple juice.

(12oz bottle, thanks CaptainCougar) Quickly dissipating white head atop clear straw body. Aroma is moderately sweet, apple, light orange. Taste is medium sweet, apple, wheat, light orange. Light body, easy drinking.
