Feb 18, 2005 This bottle poured a light straw color liquid with an almost nonexistent head, consequently there was also no lacing. It is bottle conditioned therefore must be poured very carefully to avoid stirring up sediment. The aroma was very light, reminiscent of a lager but more malt. There was a slight scent of lemon and some very faint spiciness. The flavor is very delicate. It starts out slightly sweet with hints of lemon. This would be very refreshing on a hot day. The initial sweetness fades to a relatively dry finish that has a satisfying duration.

Feb 14, 2005 Very little head for a wheat beer. Not too much going on, but decent for an american wheat. Just hard to get excited about this style.

Feb 7, 2005 on tap at hooter’s in union station, st. louis, mo / very hazy yellow, no head. slightly cremey, wheaty, citrusy. lemony, mostly thanks to the lemon. just a simple, crisp, and easy to drink wheat. wee... i must note that i won 3rd place in the wings eating contest. i scored a deck of hooters cards. wow... wee!!!

Feb 5, 2005 Small white head thats short lived leaving a scant amount of lace behind. Hazy straw color. Light malts and yeast in the nose, a touch citrusy. Light body, nice co2 level. light, crisp wheat malt flavor, fruity with citrus flavors on the palate also. Dry finish. Thanks csbosox!

Pale straw gold with a frothy white head that left disappointly fast for a wheat beer.
Pineapple/lemon aroma with a well balanced flavor. The palate was filling and rich, with a good smoothness to it.

Jan 23, 2005 Bottle... Hazy, straw-colored ale. No head. Malty aroma and flavor with notes of wheat, cream and toffee. Light-bodied and fizzy. Crisp, clean, refreshing finish. Although, there’s really not much to this ale, it is very refreshing and mercifully lacks the cloyingly fruity and spicy characteristics of most wheats (one of my least favorite styles). I like this strain of yeast.

Jan 21, 2005 Thanks to beer handy for this. Geez, this is my 3rd consecutive wheat beer tonight. Pours turbid yellow with aroma of hopcit, Tastes malty, bready, with some finishing yeast, honey, and wheaty flavors. A unique wheat beer, with a solid complexity. I’d drink this one again any day of the week, and any time of the year. Go Steelers!

Jan 16, 2005 Bottle</B Pours a very pale cloudy light yellow. Very active fizzy white head that dissipates rather quickly. Sweet wheat taste with light fruit notes as well. Apple, pear, apricots maybe. Light grain taste with some lemon and apple. Very soft carbonation. Very mild aftertaste and quite light on the hops. Slighly chalky/unfiltered feel. Very pleasant and drinkable.
