Commercial Description:
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer, available since 2000 both in bottles and on draught, is a lively, refreshing ale with a citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. Our Unfiltered Wheat is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration.

USed to me fav beer back in the day of my Omaha micro days. At one time we mixed it with coke... That was good. No Fruit need for this wheat. Fantastic session beer.

Cloudy straw, large head and lace. Fruity sweet aroma. Light, some chalky vanilla and banana. Nice fizzy carb with hints of cinnamon. Some low fruity citrus, lemon. This is maybe the archetype of sweet American wheat beers. I used to love this beer.

This was the first Boulevard beer that I tried about 12 years ago. Slight hazy yellow color with very little head. Hints of lemon and spice. Very smooth and easy to drink. Much better than 312 (local wheat beer) and one of my favorite session beers. I drink it year round and I always pick some up when in the Boulevard Distribution area.

12oz shorty bottle. Cloudy light orange color. Some mellow malt and sulfur in the aroma. Lemony wheat taste, medium bodied. This is a pretty good American wheat beer, somewhere between a Wit and a Hefeweizen. Initial carbonation and bitterness lead to a tangy, nice sweet citrus aftertaste. Delicate bittering hops. Very well done.

bottle. Pours a clear, pale yellow with a nice white head. Nose of lemon and spice. Taste is also of lemon and spice. Mouthfeel is medium-thin and dry with good carbonation. Not bad.

Cloudy, somewhat murky gold with a white head, decent lace. Aroma of citrus and whole grains. Flavor is built around wheat, whole wheat body with wheat spiciness, grain husk finish. Lemon zest and clove are present throughout. First sip had an excessive carbonic tartness that melded poorly with the huskier grain elements. Fortunately this faded. Full, sudsy mouthfeel.
