Commercial Description:
Boulevard's summer seasonal was introduced in June of 2000. Our interpretation of a classic Belgian witbier, ZÔN (Flemish for "Sun") combines the subtle flavors of coriander and orange peel with other traditional ingredients to create a delightful, refreshing summertime brew.

Pours a very light hazy yellow with light white head that dissipates to a bit of lacing. Aroma is citrusy, notes of lemon and orange. Yeast aroma. Flavor has definite spice-coriander. Citrus palate--heavy on the lemon side. A decent wit...not too bad surprisingly.

Courtesy of CigarCityBrew. Pours hazy straw with thin bright white head. Smells of sugary sweet malts and wheat and not much else. The taste feels watery to start but that may work for the refreshing summer beer style. I get sweet and tart notes to go along with wheat and what feels like an absence of hops. Interesting.

Bottle best by October 1, 2008. Pours a light , considerably cloudy yellow with a trace of a white head. The aroma is decently strong for the style, rich with citrus and coriander. It has a rough, wooden quality about it which I also like. The palate and flavor of this brew are rather light, but the actual profile and balance are commendable. Suggestions of lemon, coriander, wheat, and a juicy finish come together to make one efficient thirst quencher that has enough character to hold my interest.

BB 10/08. Hazy golden pear color with a small lasting ring. Lemon, clove, bubblegum in the aroma. Flavor is similar, with coriander seed and some resin as well. Light body is tingly and dry.

Pours a muddled yellow with a frothy white head. Nice yet weak wheat aroma. Typical white but nice yeast!! I will have google what strain that is.

This was refreshing and nice on a hot as hell S Fla day. Nice smooth flavor after a really nice clloudy golden pour. Honey flavor with some nice lemon...yeast and just plain good.
