Commercial Description:
Boulevard's summer seasonal was introduced in June of 2000. Our interpretation of a classic Belgian witbier, ZÔN (Flemish for "Sun") combines the subtle flavors of coriander and orange peel with other traditional ingredients to create a delightful, refreshing summertime brew.

The head’s a bit short, but this has a nice, hazy straw body with plently of beading. It smells of honeyed wheat with coriander and sweet (?) lemon. Nice and crisp mouthfeel. The spices perk up in the flavor and the lemon gets tart. Pretty refreshing warm weather brew.

Aroma of wheat and clove. Spice on the tongue. Orange peel. Moderate body and crisp finish. Good beer to have, this evening on the patio.

12 oz bottle shared with willblake thanks to vyvvy. Super hazy yellow with a tiny white head. Aroma was very nice with lots of grass, hay, lemon, corriander and yeast. The flavor however was far weaker then the aroma and only had some hints of all those great aromas. If the flavor was as strong as the aroma this would of been one fantastic beer but as it is it is just average.

Pale and cloudy, with a thin head. Very strong wheat aroma, with lemons and spice as well. A bit flat feeling. Very tangy, and true to form. A bit low on alcohol though.
