Here we go with another re-rate on this beer, and again, I am liking it more and more each time. The interplay between spice, citrus and yeast is really delicate and balanced. On top of that, super refreshing. My beef with the palate is toned a bit too, this seemed fuller this time around. 7,4,7,3,15 (3.6)
++++RE-RATE 9/1/07++++ 12 oz. bottle. I picked up on a lot more spice complexity this time around. Also, a very nice wheat palate throughout. Still a bit watery, but enjoyed much more this time around. 7,4,6,3,10 (3.0)
++++ORIGINAL RATING 10/26/06++++ Bottle. Pour is hazy white gold. Nice full head. Taste is tangerine, lemon and lime. OK spiciness at the end. Overall, a slightly below average Belgian White. 6,4,5,3,10 (2.8) troyc (1175), Lubbock, Texas, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 18, 2006 (Bottle) Pours a hazy gold with a stable, lasting white head. Balanced and very tasty. A full-bodied beer as well, which reminded me of a decent German hefeweizen. Lots of orange and colriander notes, but not overwhelming at all. Very satisfying. linkolnlogg (94), your home, Minnesota, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 29, 2006 12 oz bottle, via Secret Santa Phillybeer2112. Pours a hazy straw colored body under a thin and fizzy white head that disappeared quickly. Aroma is of spicy wheat with a hints of yeast, hay, and marshmellow. Flavor is of husky wheat and citrus, with a little coriander and bitter orange peel spices on the finish. Minimal amounts of yeast come out late in the finish as well. Mouthfeel is thin and fizzy with prickly carbonation. A pretty unexciting and run of the mill Wit. Then again I’m not the hugest fan of Witbiers. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2006 Incredibly murky, cloudy with nearly no head at all. Strawberry blonde in color. Strong wheaty aroma. Slightly sour, and wheaty flavor. Simple spices complement this warm weather brew. A very good witbier. notalush (2699), Denver, Colorado, USA
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 19, 2006 Thanks to my secret santa - fizzy body, with a hazy straw color - very full aroma for the style, with abundant coriander, lemon rind, orange marmalade, floral/herbal notes, some earthiness - almost smokey up front, followed by some very floral, farmhouse ale-like qualities - then it starts to taste like a wit, with those citrus flavors really coming in full force, followed by a mild, peppery spice and bready malt - wonderfully balanced and delicious, not to mention original - ranks up there with Allagash White in my book. bu11zeye (5675), Frisco, Texas, USA
