| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Bottle... Hazy, barely straw-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is both extremely estery and phenolic or they’ve spiced the high hell out of this one. Seems like a light dose of liquid smoke was also thrown into the mix. The flavor is much the same with delicate notes of barely-kilned grains. Light-bodied and thin with medium carbonation. Finishes watery and spicy. It tastes like a "kit beer" to me. However, in all fairness, I’m totally repulsed by any semblance of spice in a beer. It’s just not my thing. bu11zeye (5470), Frisco, Texas, USA
