Boundary Bay Newport Pale Ale

Cloudy gold, lasting white head. Citrus hop nose. Citrus/bitter hop profile, long finish. Thin bodied, needs more balancing malt

Draft at the brewpub. Pours hazy medium copper with no head; looks very still. Ultra mild nose, maybe a little bit of caramel there. Slightly watery attack, kinda flat. Rich resiny hop takes over at the attack, though, and never lets up, carrying some real flavor right through the mid-palate and to the finish. Tasty and refreshing despite a couple weaknesses.
