Dark amber colour. Beige head, mostly lasting. Aroma is sweet, fatty, smoked. And perhaps a bit spicy. A bit too complex. Sweet flavor.

bottle 50cl at home . pours brown with a small brown head.aroma is sweetish, roasted malts, dark chocolate, very faint sweetish dark fruits (cristmas spices?). anise. flavor is strong, balanced, roasted malts, licorice, anise, brown sugary sweetness, nice balance between flavors, a real good christmas ale. if i should point to something negative, mouthfeel is slightly watery, but otherwise a very well tasting brew indeed.

Red-black colored with little light brown head. Interesting roasted aroma with christmas ginger and cardamoom dominating, thin licorice also present. Interesting, and good aroma. Medium bodied. Flavor is more roasted with caramel and rich christmas spiciness too. Aftertaste dries with slight caramel still.
