Bottle dkr. 10,- . Amber/brown colour with offwhite head. Aroma and taste of roasted malts, dark sugars and sweet sour berris. A bit DMS sour mouthfeel and a not pleasant finish. Why Bov?

Clear medium red brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark bread, brown sugar, roasted notes. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20081124]

Bottle. Brown amber, fine carbonation, low creamy head. Roast and plum nose. Bready base, roasted caramell sweetness, plumpudding notes, sugary sticky finish.Fullbodied, mellow mouthfeel. Dessertbeer, not as refined as many german bocks, but quite fitting for this time of year.

From Voldby, DK. Bottled, 051208. Brown with red shine and beige head. Aroma of malt and a tone of grass. Flavor is caramel, fruit and some chocolate.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, malt, and caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel, leading to a smooth caramel finish. Lacks some body.

Bottle at Bjergtrolden. Redbrown with a light brown head. Aroma heavy malty (roasted, fruity, chocolate, coffee), moderate hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, moderate bitter. Medium to full body. Very fine.

(bottle, courtesy of Papsoe) Almost clear, dark ruby colour with a light-beige, medium-sized foamy head. Sweet, melanoidinic toast-malty aroma with caramel, cacao and subtle fruity elements of berries. Sweet flavour with a lighter burnt bitterness, full bodied with a smooth mouthfeel. Strong roasty malty base with caramel and notes of chocolate/cacao; solid malty finish which is rather sweet with slightly burnt bitter notes and a touch of alcohol (12.08.08).

Bottle: Ruby-amber coloured, smaller, lacy off-white layer; sweet dark-malty and sweet fruity nose with a distinctive herbal hoppy touch, toasted malt is detectable too; solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied, soft creamy MF; toasted malt ind dried fruits in the solid sweet-bitter finish. Decent, well balanced Bock, absolutely not too sweet..........
