cellar (327), Dublin, Ireland Jul 3, 2008 Courtesy KimJohansen. Dark amber, no head, notes of hops, yeast, fruit, some kind of liqourice, little bitter/ KimJohansen (3026), Copenhagen V, Denmark Jun 18, 2008 Bottle @ Chris O’s tasting. Deep amber with medium off white head. Fruity aroma with caramel and hoppy notes. Sweet flavor with caramel, citric and hoppy notes. Ends bitter. Beer_2000 (1164), Kristiansand, Norway Jun 10, 2008 500 ml bottle. Amber body with a big, light beige head. A bit subdued hoppy aroma. Flavor is malt with a sharp bitterness, not particular aromatic. Finish is rather bitter as well. OK, but quite average, dry bitter ale. Mes_and_Sim (4176), London, Greater London, England Jun 8, 2008 A Mes rate: Bottle at Chris O’s laid back Friday night tasting. Amber with a thin white head. Nice hops with a pleasant fruity note. An interesting blend of English hops, faint earthy malt and the usual Belgian yeast. Enjoyable but not amazing. MiP (4937), Flensburg, Germany Jun 8, 2008 Bottle at ÅBF08. Sherryish aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small white head. Creamy flavour, some malt. Rough bitterness in aftertaste.
