Gravicask at Reading Beer Festival. Wow. Well this one certainly stood out from the crowd. Glorious looking bitter signifies the intentions. Citric hop nose with some glorious alcohol notes around the edges. Tangy malted biscuit flavour instantly gives way to waves of more and more alcoholic citric hops. Very aromatic hoppy finish. Absolute cracker. imdownthepub (5185), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 8, 2007 Cask conditioned at Merton Beer Festival ’07. Orange amber with full white head. Clear and in perfect condition, this was an incredibly flavoursome beer, fairly regular light malt base, a little crisp bisuity, maybe a touch of sulpher, but this is about hops, wonderful aromatic flowery hops. Great lasting bitterness on the finish. A little belter. anders37 (4792), Malmö, Sweden
