Aroma is woody, touch of smoke and some dark fruits. Tastes really very nice, plenty of chocolate, the woodiness on the nose returns, but there is also a very juicy streak of citrussy hops ploughing their way through this beer. Most enjoyable. Quite green. Coffee.
Bitter coffee. With sweet light chocolaty lifts.
Tickly chocolate with metallic death throes. Slightly too gassy.
Roast and groovy. Its quite lovely really. austone (1039), Turku; Pori, Finland

A tad chocolatey, nutty aroma, nicely malty. Good nuttiness, chocolate malts and herbal hops in the dry flavor. Quite similar to Dark star festival I had a few weeks ago. Medium bodied, almost flat palate. Tasty brew, runs down easily TBone (6803), Pori, Finland

Dark ruby-copper color, creamy beige head. Crisp, menthol hoppy aroma. Quite hoppy, some caramelly maltyness. Good hoppy session ale with caramelly backbone. Could be more lively, but otherwise a-ok. FatPhil (3480), Espoo, Finland

Coffee aroma. Very dark red, large loose head. Soft palate, pleasant carbonation. Rich burnt taste, lots of burnt finish. Fairly pleasant. Both strength and subtlety. Well balanced.
rerate: Similar, maybe better, at Pullman. Final rating created from maxima. oh6gdx (8903), Vasa, Finland

Aroma is burnt wood, roasted malts and some mild dark dry fruits along with vanilla. Flavour is quite much the same with also some fresh fruity notes lurking. I could have more of this one anytime. wheresthepath (549), Buckinghamshire, England

I thought so too at first, but it did grow on me a little over the course of the pint. Burnt malt dominates throughout. There’s some fruity tanginess in the background. It’s intensely and unpleasantly bitter but leaves a syrupy coating in your mouth.
