Sweet, slightly nutty caramel and malt loaf aroma, with a scattering of raisins. Liquorice showing through in the mouth, with plain but pleasant dark fruit and yeasty dubbel-ish flavours. Faint fizz and climbing suds. Opaque and stouty. Some ash and tobacco. Liquorice becoming increasingly obvious as it warms. Not bad at all. MesandSim (5955), London, Greater London, England
