I thought this was great IPA. Had on tap at Bacchus Pub in Bozeman. Nice and hoppy but with a solid malt backbone. Even tasted a little spicy. My first BBC beer and I’d love to try more.

Not bad at all- was surprised by the color and flavor. Definitely seemed to border a more imperial style- but not quite.

On tap in Idaho Falls at 2009 NABA. Pours a light straw color with a large white head. The aroma was great; a huge citrus hop note. Light caramel as well. The taste is great; lots of bitter hops, citrus, light caramel and oranges. I had a lot of IPAS that day, and this was one of the better ones.

Third stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 in Bozeman, Montana. Sampled at the Bozeman brewery brewpub as cask conditioned. Pours a semi-clear golden blonde brew with a thin white head that slowly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of caramel malt, orange and grapefruit zest and some pine hops than citrus. Not as over-the-top as the Bozeman Hopsimelia. Taste is smooth, medium bodied, creamy with no carbonation. Flavors has a slight caramel malt with lots of graefruit tastes. Finish is very bitter that lingers around for a while.

On draught at BBC Tap Room in Bozeman. Labeled 7.2%. Pours a deep amber color with lasting white lace. A big hoppy bitterness, not coarse, but dominated the maltiness, late alcohol hit. Nice.

Big hoppy up front with a touch of malt. Medium body to this, but the citrus goes on for ever. Light toasted malt on the finish which gives it a little sweetness to it.

Tap @ Dog & Grog Virginia City, MT. Almost clear golden w off white head. Aroma of fresh roasted malt & floral resinious hops. Flavor is semi sweet. Sticky, into medium bodied. Medium roasted malt, slightly toasted. Flavor was somewhat cooked/buffered together. Could have had a cleaner more distinct division of the flavors.
