Skyview (2772), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jul 12, 2007 Third stop during the ABA Beer Tour ’07 in Bozeman, Montana. Sampled at the Bozeman brewery brewpub on tap. Pours a near opaque dark brown brew with a creamy very slow dissolving off-white head. Excellent sticky lacing on glass edges. Aroma of coffee, light white chocolate with some flowery hops. Taste is full bodied, very light carbonated, smooth, creamy with flavors of roasted dark malt, milk chocolate and a touch of coffee. Finish is bittersweet with a lingering roasted malt aftertaste. One of the brewpubs best products. tomciccateri (447), Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA Jul 1, 2007 On draught at the tap room. Light-bodied with a slightly thin mouthfeel. An opaque brown color with a thick tan head and lace. Smooth mouthfeel. rparsons157 (4), USA does not count Mar 12, 2007 At the brewery. One of my favorite porters. Bittered nicely with right amount of punch. Aroma of coffee and chocolate with tan head. jake65 (1216), Meridian, Idaho, USA Aug 31, 2006 On tap: Nice dark porter with some tan headfor most of the glass. Coffee and roasted malts, a little chocolate, bittersweetness, and caramel tones. Very smooth and clean porter overall. harlequinn (2746), Tacoma, Washington, USA Jun 13, 2006 Very enjoyable, and would make an excellent session porter. I could get used to drinking this. One of the most well balanced porters I have tried in ages. Rich roasted caramel and chocolate, and just the right amount of toastiness. Well done!
