Jun 13, 2006 This was ridiculously tasty. Heavy fruit flavors, with tons and tons of rich, sweet brown candi sugars. Caramelized in your mouth with a heavy sticky presence on the palate.

Jun 13, 2006 Sampled at the NABA 06 Fest: Pours a mahogany amber color with no head. Fruity and lively earthy hops along with sweet grassy malts in the nose. Creamy and balanced flavor (I guess that would be a creamy mouthfeel). Light alcohol noticeable in the finish and it kinds falls apart in the tail. Nice barleywine though.

Jan 31, 2004 Hints of cane syrup on the nose. Nice deep color with good solid light brown head with good lacing. Huge sweet malt up front with a ton of carmelized brown sugar and dried fruit notes. A touch of hops to finish you off. Great ale to finish the night.
