jazzmaster (18), Denmark Feb 5, 2007 Very nice black beer with a thick creamy brown head - nice roasted coffeelike aroma complemented with a lot of spicey and especially fruity hop aromas, allmost like black currant. Flavour is very full, and with the same flavours as in the aroma. Very well balanced beer sinisterdad (13), Denmark Sep 9, 2007 Pitch black colour with long lasting, creamy brown head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of black coffee and liquorice. Roasted, malty taste with strong, black coffee, liquorice and chocolate. Full bodied, velvet mouthfeel. Lots of hops, well balanced by the chocolate malts. Very nice.
heland01 (5), Denmark does not count Feb 15, 2007 An absolutely marvellous master piece from the best Micro brewery in Denmark. Full bodied, full flavoured and exceptionally well hopped. An imperial stout with a modern twist on the hoppy side. A dark mistress to be reckoned with coming in at 10% fiulijn (5860), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy Jun 26, 2007 Updated: Dec 17, 20072007-12-17, draught at Plan B, Black color; creamy head. The aroma has a nice cheesy yeast and creamy roasted malt. Wonderful flavor, full malty, but not chewy, with sweet caramel, milk chocolate, creamy overall, with a touch of roasted malt, a bit salty, and with subtle quality hops. The final is well balanced as well, and there is no trace of alcohol. Powerful, excellent!
