dirkbreedveld (225), Netherlands Oct 7, 2005 Nice amberstyle beer. Easy going every way, very commercial. Very drinkable due to balanced of malts, bitters, fruity ness. Nice label too.
cgarvieuk (2525), Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 3, 2008 draught at EBF Copenhagen 2008 ... Deep red ... slightly sour nose ... light and fruity ... not up to much... Fin (2348), Merton, Oxfordshire, England Sep 29, 2008 Had this at the European Beer Festival, Kobenhaven, Denmark 13-09-08 Another beer that has taken me some time to track down, I had it down as Redwood but am convinced that this is the beer. Pours murky reddy/brown in colour with a light beige head atop (small) Good hoppy beer, nice furry taste in the mouth, spices and noticeable amongst them there appeared to be some ginger perhaps? FatPhil (2352), Espoo, Finland Sep 18, 2008 Bottle (EBF2008)<br />
Sweet sour fruits, and touch of soap. OK carbonation. Slight vegetal taste. Not too sweet, fortunately, unlike many a red. lghansen (24), Denmark Aug 24, 2008 Dark amber color and really strong ale smell, but actually a slightly sweet taste and not too much bitterness in the after taste. Brewer’s website says it is best served at 6-8 deg C but I found the flavors really came out around 10-12 deg C. Svesse (1811), Hässelby, Sweden Aug 3, 2008 (Draught at Lord Nelson, Copenhagen, 26 July 2008) Almost ruby red colour with brief, beige head. Fruity, malty nose with notes of caramel, wild berries and spicy hops. Fruity taste with caramel, wild berries (cowberries) and a spicy finish. Well balanced. Nice ber.
