Commercial Description:
Cask; Regular.
A traditional copper coloured mal ale using the finest English hops to produce both floral and smooth aroma but still giving it a sharp finish.

Cask, gravity, at Bedford BF ’08. Amber. Faint malt aroma. Lovely rich cheesy malt taste with burnt bread crust and some bitterness. Plenty of flavour for an under 4% beer. Liked it.

A Sim rate (Cask at The Phoenix): Smells malty and hoppy, very alcoholic tasting despite its strength. Tastes like off milk. Not very nice.

Cask conditioned @ South Western Arms, Soton. Some of the guys at the bar seemed quite taken with this beer but I wasnt so impressed. Malty with fruity toffee and earthy floral hops in the light finish. Light and drinkable.

A mid, copper brown coloured beer, with a weak off white head. A light, slightly weak nose with hints of hop and apple. The taste is rather flat, light and dry on the mouth, with a bitter, woody hop flavour. The aftertaste is dry. Cask conditioned guest ale at the Fox & Hounds, Heacham, Norfolk.

Cask (handpulled) at the Royal Oak, Ockbrook, Derby. Another above average English bitter; copper body, maltyness not overdone, decent bitter finish.
