Lunkie (1006), Glen Iris, Australia Jun 19, 2008 Sweet honey chocolate malt aroma. Dark brown colour with poor head and lacing. Smooth malt chocolate flavour with raspberries. Smooth palate.
nomad (12), manchester, Greater Manchester, England May 14, 2008 Draught at Head Of Steam, Hudds. Dark stout, whitish lasting head, good condition. Malty/coffee aromas. Tastes of chocolate and coffee and a bit of earth with dryish aftertaste and some banana. OK but far too thin and watery for me. Ungstrup (11075), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 28, 2007 Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of over ripe fruits as well as lighter notes of metal. The flavor is sweet malty and again dominated by over ripe fruit. The body is thin - no wonder at 4.5% ABV. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Oct 1, 2007 (Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear, warm, chestnut brown with a small, off-white head. Lightly burned malt aroma. Light in body, hard roasted malt accents, a whiff of vanilla and a subdued bitterness. Nice alright. 180907 Grovlam (2997), Copenhagen, Denmark Sep 21, 2007 Bottle. Average beige creamy head that mostly diminished. Clear mahogany color. Spare lacework. Sweet chocolate, roasted malt, hint of licorice and light caramel. Light bodied with a soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor. Sweet finish. 18-09-2007
