Draught at Head Of Steam, Hudds. Dark stout, whitish lasting head, good condition. Malty/coffee aromas. Tastes of chocolate and coffee and a bit of earth with dryish aftertaste and some banana. OK but far too thin and watery for me.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of over ripe fruits as well as lighter notes of metal. The flavor is sweet malty and again dominated by over ripe fruit. The body is thin - no wonder at 4.5% ABV.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Ungstrup. Clear, warm, chestnut brown with a small, off-white head. Lightly burned malt aroma. Light in body, hard roasted malt accents, a whiff of vanilla and a subdued bitterness. Nice alright. 180907

Bottle. Average beige creamy head that mostly diminished. Clear mahogany color. Spare lacework. Sweet chocolate, roasted malt, hint of licorice and light caramel. Light bodied with a soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor. Sweet finish. 18-09-2007
