Brahma Malzbier

Thanks to dm9831 for the 350ml can. It pours a dark brown, nearly opaque, with a skinny tan head. The aroma is a blending of cola, wort, and mineral water. I was told that this was sweet, but, Egads!, it nearly rotted my teeth out afore I could finish it. Very sugary to taste, so much so that one barely notices the dark malt in it. They should try fermenting this thing!

espuma de aparência inicial média e borbulhante, cor marrom-claro e reduzida longevidade. Moderada formação de colarinho. Seu corpo marrom-escuro é opaco, de densidade média. O aroma tem toque moderado de malte tostado, além de algo açucarado, semelhante à açúcar mascavo. O enjoativo sabor inicial é pesadamente doce no início, sensação esta que se mantém até o final, que é acrescido de leve amargor, com média duração. O pobre paladar é composto de um corpo médio-leve, de textura aguada, média carbonatação e um final ligeiramente metálico, ofuscado pela avalanche doce.

Puro açúcar, com álcool quase imperceptível. Caramelo demais no paladar e na aparência.

355ml bottle-pours a rich tan head and black color. Aroma is rich dark malt-molasses, dark fruit-raisin/prune. Taste is sweet rich dark malt-molasses, dark fruit-raisin/prune. Soft carbonation. Towards full body with a syrupy mouth feel. Nice. Interesting.

Bottle 0,355L. The weak roasted malt and sweet aroma didn’t prepared me for the tons of sugar that was going into my mouth. Caramel anarchy, this one. The little bittery it has from the malt is too shy to appear clearly behind the giant walls of sugar. Coffe colour body, beige fluffy fading head and sugar enough to bake a cake. Bad stuff. / O cheiro fraco de malte torrado e um pouco doce não me preparou pras toneladas de açúcar que iam entrar na minha boca. Anarquia de caramelo, nessa cerveja. O pouco amargor do malte é muito tímido pra aparecer direito atrás das paredes gigantes de açúcar. Corpo cor de café, com espuma bege que some rápido, e açúcar o bastante pra assar um bolo. Ruim.

(Bottle) Pours an opaque black body with a few beige bubbles for a head. Aroma of sweaty running shoes, basement mustiness, and light roastiness. Flavor of corn syrup, caramel, and finishes with black licorice. Sugary sweet nastiness…

Has a Black color, with rich beige head, good. The flavor is sugary sweet with cloying syrup.The fairly nasty saccharine finish. No good.
