Apr 21, 2007 Very deep red-brown colour. Hardly any head at all. Soft bit sweet roasty malty aroma. Soft, flat, toasty malty, caramel flavour. Soft long bitter finish.

Oct 8, 2006 Aroma gives less than i may have wanted, malt character which seems to be common from this brewery. Taste is a bit richer, malts which give sweetness and hops which give spiceyness and orange peel, a good session ale.

Aug 1, 2006 A Mes rate: From the Hobgoblin in Baker St. Very off smelling nose but oddly enough it’s not too bad. Enjoyable creamy palate. Slight treacle and caramel ending off back to sugar. Seim tart finish that is a little sticky. Not bad over all.
