Nice malty bock aroma. Smooth and sweet with prominent malt. Deep caramel color with small tan head. Disappointingly thin palate -- which was tart and clingy, turning piney/brassy. This started well, but finished poorly.

Interesting. Very Belgian for a bock, with even some sourness. Well worth seeking out.

An intersting beer. pours with anice dark amber color with a firm head. has a bread -like aroma. Very malty taste - reminiscent of some belgian brown ales- but surprising in a bottom fermenting beer. not easy to find but this is worth a try if you can get one.
