May 15, 2008 Pour is clear golden yellow with a thin white head....smell is lightl sweet and grainy....lots of grainy sweetness in the flavor...very lively mouthfeel....

Apr 12, 2008 Draught @ Brewpub: Aroma of lemon, light hops, and corn. Smells like an American macro. Poured gold/apple juice/piss in color with no real head. Clear. Lightly sparkling. No lacing. Tastes of corn, slight hops, and lemon. Like an American macro with better ingredients. Light body. Average texture. Soft to average carbonation. Hop and lemon finish. Just slightly better than US macros.

Jan 26, 2008 This is the latest Brass offering to try to get the BMC crowd to try craft beers. It is what it is, a golden lager with a decent head and sweet malty smells with a touch of corn and a slight suggestion of grassy hops. The hops aren’t present in the flavor, just there enough to keep the sweetness in check. Curiously, I witnessed brewmaster Anthony Carollo giving some of his reqular BMC folk free samples, and this seemed to be too much for them. Oh, well. Brass Restaurant & Brewery, South Barrington, IL
