beervana (781), Libertyville, Illinois, USA Jun 2, 2006 (04.24.06) On tap at Brass Restaurant and Pub, Barrington, IL. Poured clear golden amber with small white head. Very faint malt in the nose. Light-to-medium bodied that starts with light malt sweetness and toasted malt flavor. Finished with light malt flavor. No discernable honey flavor. Though watery and thin, this is a good drinkable beer that goes well with mild-tasting foods. frankenkitty (1832), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA Jan 29, 2006 Served bright orange with a halo, this had an aroma of corn nuts and lagering yeasts. Bitter, sour and thin... and mostly uneventful. Not much of a wheat beer.

RAYBOY01 (1654), Chicago, Illinois, USA Sep 4, 2005 Why am I getting SMOKE from this so-called wheat? Bad tapper? No wheat. no honey...other than that...no problem. StewardofGondor (1934), Washington Heights - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 29, 2005 Clear copper in color with a creamy, milky, thin white head. Aroma reveals honey and fabric softener, juniper and rosemary, biscuits and subtle hops. Sweet and crisp flavor. Honey is most pronounced in the crescent roll finish, where it reveals the closest connection to its American Wheat categorization. Tenderly acidic and searing as it receeds. IBU levels and hops selection are both a touch off. Some pils musk and grapenuts on the back end. Zeswaft (1000), Seattle, Washington, USA May 27, 2005 Cloudy gold. Tastes a lot like my homebrew, but it wasn’t a wheat beer. There is a good amount of malt sweetness. Doesn’t taste much like a wheat beer. Only minor citrus notes.
