draft at the brewpub - This ale was one of Brass Monkeys "one and done" brews, so I assume it is gone now. Pours amber with a small but lasting head. It smells of caramel malt and lots of hops. One taste makes it clear that this is very heavily hopped for an amber ale. Fortunately I love hops. It is a nice session brew with a long, bitter finish of good, fresh hops.
