500 mL bottle from PA beer club. Pours Dark gold with light white head. Very rich fruity aroma with grapefruit and peach. Lightly malted with balanced bitter finish. Solid but unremarkable IPA.

Dec 10, 2009 500ml bottle, 4,99$. Golden-yellowish hazy appearance, no head, some lacings, with a citrusy and sweetish aroma. Taste is a little weird and unexpected for an IPA, being very fruity, from the hops and the yeast (banana, pear, apple, pineapple), chalky and even a little woody, with a mix of tartness and sweetness. The hopping seemed boring at first, but became very present, leaving an intense dry mouth bitterness. I thought about a Chouffe Houblon wannabe (probably some hops used are the same). Not bad, interesting stuff, but so very different than the IPAs I’m used to. My first contact with Sainte Source is not a deception but I don’t think I’ll buy that often...

Sep 7, 2009 Sampled @ Bieres et Saveur 09.09.07 : Dark Yellow small white head. This one is served flat. It has a small body a nice bitterness with tons of citrusy notes the body is medium.
