Golden-yellowish hazy appearance, no head, some lacings, with a citrusy and sweetish aroma. Taste is a little weird and unexpected for an IPA, being very fruity, from the hops and the yeast (banana, pear, apple, pineapple), chalky and even a little woody, with a mix of tartness and sweetness. The hopping seemed boring at first, but became very present, leaving an intense dry mouth bitterness. I thought about a Chouffe Houblon wannabe (probably some hops used are the same). Not bad, interesting stuff, but so very different than the IPAs I’m used to. My first contact with Sainte Source is not a deception but I don’t think I’ll buy that often... punkska101 (103), Chambly, Quebec, Canada
