Pours a muddy gold with way too much head. Nose is sour corn. The head has literaly formed a nipple in the middle. It looks like a model of Devils Tower formed on top of my bear ala Close Encounters. Taste is sour and hoppy (soppy?) Like a lite verision of Victory Golden Monkey with a slighlty cardboard finish. Not at all what I expect in a Pilsner. Don’t know that I will finish it. Who am i kidding, it’s all drinkable (except sam adams trippel)

Appearance: Pours a cloudy, pale golden body with a creamy white head. Smell: Spicy, flowery hops and the nose-turning scent of spoiled lemons. Abandon hope, all ye who enter here. Taste: Sticky sweetness spicy and floral hints. Then, there it is again, the sour, rancid lemon juice. Finishes with more of that odd, off-putting sourness. Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: A bit of a blight on the pilsner scene.

Kind of on the fruity side for a Pils (i thought). Not my favourite at all

Got this one on a trip to Minnesota...first taste was a very bitter nasty flavor. In fact I did not like it. After the second taste I loved it. To my buds though it is not a Pilsner...so what up? I liked it though for the bitterness it brought to the table...

Cloudy Yellow with Gold Hue and White Head. Sweet Cheerios Grain Aroma. Light Bodied...Heavy on Musty Barn Grains..Corn and Subtle Sugared Malt. Musty Grain Aftertaste...Perhaps a Good Lawnmower Brew.

Light yellow pour with small white head. Smell of fermented corn. Flavor is really grainy with a big hit of corn and a touch of sweetness to it. Kind of sticky for a pils.

Bottled, thanks to Skyview! Poured an almost clear medium golden with a short cap of white head.. some darker sediment settled to the bottom. The aroma threw me off with a heavy toasted grain presence.. darker caramel, honey, and molasses (for no good reason) really bump up the sweetness.. bizarre all around, and stayed far from enticing. Sweet honey and graham cracker sweetness at the flavor core with mild floral bitter accents.. leaving an odd sweet stickiness at the finish.. whatever they were shooting for here, it’s not very good. Rather thick on the palate with residual sticky sweetness in all the wrong places.. no real redeeming qualities to this one.
