| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Cloudy amber hue, with a heckuva lotta gunk floating around...big, pillowy head, though, long-lasting...but the weird particles floating up are not reassuring.
Sweet and sour in the nose. Funky, fruity...not at all what you’d want out a pilsner...this is a bit weird. Very twisted, lemon-y, ..."off", is what it is...
Taste: ooo, ew,...uh...not really a pilsner, or not a good version, or, to be fair, good bottling?
It’s a mess. Czech Pilsner? Far from the mark! The yeast went wild in this one, and the hops went crazy!
I’m dumbfounded...did they know what was in the bottle before they unleashed it on the public? Is it supposed to be like this? Crazy, man!
(See, I’m speaking like a Bohemian, even if this pilsner isn’t!)
Way too funky for what they should be shooting for, and I’m not even sure if this is what they mean to do...a real mess, like I said.
Drinkable, but not enjoyable, especially if meant to be to style.

| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Jul 12, 2007 12 ounce bottle from Cellars Wine and Spirits on Larpenteur, Roseville MN (June 2007, served a bit above fridge temperature from a Christoffel glass. Color is a little odd -- sort of a muddy gray/brown tinge to the light golden body; but the snow-white head is puffy and large and laces a bit as it recedes....massive amounts of honey in the aroma, smells like graham crackers in fact with light breadiness, grassy/floral hops are hard to distinguish in the sugary haze.....body too is just extraordinarily sweet, honey and Kayro syrup, a bit of molasses....really not at all what I want in a pils, this offers barely any hop character, minimal pale malt, seems caramelized even; as it warms up a vegetal/DMS component seems to show up and all is basically lost. Perhaps I got a bad bottle? It doesn’t seem to have been around long enough to have gone bad yet, but this one here’s a drain pour for me after less than 1/4 of the bottle. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 3, 2007 Bottle thanks to joebrew: Pours a clear pale gold with a white head. Aroma, floral hops, light bready malts, some corn. Flavor, crisp bready sweet malts with a light floral hoppiness to it. Not bad at all. JK (2961), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Isn’t this a Bohemian pils? Anyway, its an OK beer. Some corn and light hop aroma. I do pick up some style-appropriate Saaz hops in the flavor. Clean, gold color and substantial white head. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2007 Received 12-oz sample bottle to try from distributor. Another cool ACL printed bottle. I was expecting a golden pale golden yellow but this pils pours a clear caramel brown with a good lasting off white head. Aroma has scents of corn, some citrus, caramel, and some flowery hops. Taste is medium body, slightly bitter and a touch of metalic. Finish is a nice flowery hoppy bite and a bit dry. Pretty darn good though I would consider this more of an ESB than a pilsner.
