Pours a hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma was a little bit of hops and strawberry. Flavor was sweet with lemon and hops. Damn good beer. I got more than I expected out of this one. sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

Aroma, floral hops, light bready malts, some corn. Flavor, crisp bready sweet malts with a light floral hoppiness to it. Not bad at all. BDR (2168), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 24, 2007 Received 12-oz sample bottle to try from distributor. Another cool ACL printed bottle. I was expecting a golden pale golden yellow but this pils pours a clear caramel brown with a good lasting off white head. Aroma has scents of corn, some citrus, caramel, and some flowery hops. Taste is medium body, slightly bitter and a touch of metalic. Finish is a nice flowery hoppy bite and a bit dry. Pretty darn good though I would consider this more of an ESB than a pilsner. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 3, 2007 Gold color with a medium head. Slight grainy aroma. The taste is like very coarsely grainy bread. Lemony finish. SledgeJr (2972), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2009 In the bottle from HyVee CB. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin white head. This has a very unusual aroma for a pilsner. It smells like a pale ale. Lots of hops- perfume and floral. The flavor is very hard to imagine as a pilsner. Instead, it is very malty with a candy-like sweetness. Finishes with a big hop boiling bitterness. JK (2962), Richfield, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 8, 2007 Isn’t this a Bohemian pils? Anyway, its an OK beer. Some corn and light hop aroma. I do pick up some style-appropriate Saaz hops in the flavor. Clean, gold color and substantial white head. tytoanderso (1387), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 22, 2007 Bottle. Wow. First rating. Pours hazy rich yellow. Smells funky/metallic like a pilsner. Quite lively and vibrant on the palate. Not bracingly bitter but decent. Slight taste of metal (more like steel than copper). Hints of corn and malt. Nice notes of lemon zest and fresh cut grass. Finishes zesty. not too bad!
