Pours a hazy gold with a small white head. Aroma was a little bit of hops and strawberry. Flavor was sweet with lemon and hops. Damn good beer. I got more than I expected out of this one.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 13, 2009 Aroma is mostly grain with a touch of hops. Flavor is malty and grainy with touches of chocolate and caramel and a dry, crisp refreshing finish. Not amazing, but not bad. fidelis83 (729), Clinton, Iowa, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Aug 11, 2009 Pours hazy pale gold with a 2-3 finger pillowy white head that has great retention. Aroma is sweet floral and grassy hops, underripe strawberries, some bready lager yeast, reminds me alot of Coney Island Lager in the nose. Flavor is planty hops, sweet grain, prarie weeds, vegetal notes, some underripe mullberries. Sweet grain and sweet grassy hops to the finish. Palate is thin bodied slightly slick throughout and moderately carbonated. Not very good as a pils, but fairly inoffensive nonetheless, other than the odd vegetal notes. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 29, 2009 In the bottle from HyVee CB. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a thin white head. This has a very unusual aroma for a pilsner. It smells like a pale ale. Lots of hops- perfume and floral. The flavor is very hard to imagine as a pilsner. Instead, it is very malty with a candy-like sweetness. Finishes with a big hop boiling bitterness. BVery (551), Burnsville, Minnesota, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 29, 2009 TAP: clear yellow/gold pour, mild yeast/malt on taste, pretty standard non-descript pilsner. HonkeyBra (1360), Lemont, Illinois, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 28, 2009 Bottle from sampler. Pours clear, bubbly golden with some white head. Light pils aroma. Flavor is decent, the vegetables i guess are a house yeast characteristic. Good carbonation. Kind of watery sour finish. I’m going to agree that this is a weird pils. jbye4334 (710), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA
