Brau did not have a doppel at Winterfest. Perhaps the previous entry was thinking of the Schell’s doppel which was served right next door to the Brau table.

Jan 21, 2007 Winterfest 2007. This comes from a little unknown brewery in SW Minnesota. I didn’t even think about stopping by their booth until a friend told me to try their doppelbock, which they were serving from a growler. All I can say is WOW! This is very impressive. Caramel/chocolate malts, vanilla, it’s all there. I really need to get my hands on this as the flavors just explode onto the tongue, especially for a 7% ABV beer. mcbeer, thanks for the advice.
