BDR (2139), Roseville, Minnesota, USA Oct 31, 2007 ABR 2007. Light grainy nose on this amber brew. Bready body with a little hop finish. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Oct 1, 2007 On draught at the ABR ’07 in Minneapolis, MN. Pours a clear amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head. Aroma of light bread malt, a touch of caramel and grassy hops. Taste is light bodied, well carbonated with a light bready and citrus flavor. Finish is crisp, almost clean cut with hardly any aftertaste. Just a light bready flavor that quickly disappears. For a light beer, this one has the color of an amber brew but the flavor of a craft light beer. SledgeJr (2957), Omaha, Nebraska, USA Feb 6, 2005 On tap at the brewpub. Pours a very pale yellow with a decent white head. Lacing was only slight on the sides of the pint glass. I could swear that this was a pilsner, but the brewer is only making ales. The malty aroma is very close to a well-made german pilsner. It has a very pilsner-like flavor as well. Crisp finish that is a little sweet. Low hops. This is a very flavorful light beer! While I typically don’t appreciate these outside of Munich, this is more than just a fledgling brewpub’s attempt to provide a BMC option for Goober. This is a beer I would drink again.
