This ale is all American. Midwest barley combines with west coast hops to produce an excellent thirst quencher.

Good malty backbone and lingering citrus hops. Big floral hop aroma. Distinct and pressing hop flavor for style.

Pours hazy light orange with a 1-2 finge chunky white head that has good retention. Aroma is caramel, buttery toffee (a little much on the butter side), sweet floral notes a hint of citrus and dry grain. Flavor is caramel, butterscotch - lots of butterscotch, raw barley, vegetal notes, fruity notes, citrus and floral hops. Very sweet and vegetal, like butterscotch covered vegetable medley or something. Palate is light bodied and somewhat slick throughout with a light carbonation. Very strange stuff, but somehow not absolutely terrible despite all of the off flavors.

In the bottle from HyVee CB. Pours amber with a medium white head. Mild aroma of toasted caramel. At first, a slight tartnes then gives rise to a big sweet malty caramel finish that has a bit of berries at the end. Perhaps a very slight tinge of diacetyl. OK beer.

Orange pour with a decent head. Aroma of caramel, light hops, and band aids. Flavor has some vegetables, some band aids, but the hops and fruit come through decently. It’s not terrible, per se. Just a weak, below average pale ale.

Bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color with an off white head. The aroma and flavor were similar with malty caramel and toffee accompanied by light floral hops. Although these elements were in roughy equal proportions in the aroma, the toffee and caramel dominated the flavor. Light to medium bodied and sweet.

12 oz bottle. Pours a very light golden color with a very vigorous head full of tiny packed bubbles that has a nice retention and decent lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet, vegetal, and a bit of DMS going on and a very minimal citrus aroma. A bit unexpected for a pale ale. Flavor is similar to aroma but a bit more toned down. Easy drinker just not at all what I would consider an American Pale Ale.

Pours a hazy soft gold with a one finger frothy white head. The nose is sweet, corn, some malt, very very mild hop character. Not too nice. The flavor is sweet, cornish, some malt, very mild hop bitterness, earthy oxidized off flavors.
